The Dream Story On the day of February 21, 2003, a woman named Eleanor Quincy gave birth to a loving child named Alexa Quincy. She was a unique child growing up and never did anything wrong. When she was 5, she was really shy and just read books all day. She really had a great childhood growing up with her parents, but that changed when she turned 14 years old. Her dad Davis got a new job as a mechanic when she was 13, but he was going to get stationed in Ohio. He was confirmed of the job on her birthday. The next day, Davis sat down with his family and told them the terrifying news. Alexa stood up and shouted while crying, â€Å"Why do we have to move during the school year? You know I am†¦show more content†¦As she was boarding the plane, her feet felt like they had heavy shackles around them. She felt like collapsing to the floor. When she got to her seat, she sighed in relief because her legs could finally stop hurting her. After she fully sat down, she got her blanket out of her carr y on bag and put it over her so she could fall asleep. A little while later, Alexa woke up and forgot she was on the plane and not at home. Her mom and dad were sitting next to her asleep also. Her mom and dad woke up a few hours after she did. 30 minutes later, the plane landed and they started to get off the plane. When they got their car back, they drove to their new house. When they first walked in, Alexa s first thoughts were, â€Å"Eww, why did we have to move to this place. Dad, why did you have to get this job?†. Davis said in despite of her offense, â€Å"Well honey, this was the only degree I went to school for. Being a mechanic was my passion since I was a little boy like you. Except, you re a girl.†. The next this Davis had on his mind was school. How were they going to enroll her? Where were they going to enroll her? Then Davis remembered he saw an ad on the TV for a high school named West Coast High. So when it was a week before school, Davis asked Eleano r if she can go up to West Coast and enroll Alexa.
